customer”, “you”) agree to be bound by these Terms.

2. Bespoke Orders and Quotations
2.1 All furniture is made to order based on the dimensions, materials, colour and specification agreed with
you at the point of order, either in person, by phone, email, or via our online enquiry process.
2.2 Quotations are valid for 30 days from the date issued. Prices may change after this period to reflect
material or labour cost changes.
2.3 It is your responsibility to check and confirm all measurements, colours and specifications before
production begins. We are not liable for errors arising from incorrect measurements or information supplied
by you.
2.4 Because every piece is custom-built to your specification, we are unable to offer exact size guarantees
to the millimetre — minor variances of a few millimetres may occur as part of the handmade production
process.
3. Deposits and Payment
3.1 A non-refundable deposit of 10% of the total order value is required to confirm your order and begin
production. Your order will not enter our production schedule until this deposit is received.
3.2 The remaining balance is due in full prior to delivery and installation, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
3.3 We accept payment by bank transfer and card.
3.4 We reserve the right to withhold delivery of goods until payment in full has been received.
4. Lead Times
4.1 Current estimated lead times are 8–10 weeks from receipt of deposit and confirmation of specification,
though this may vary depending on our production schedule at the time of order.
4.2 Lead times are estimates, not guaranteed delivery dates. While we make every effort to meet quoted
timeframes, delays can occasionally occur due to material availability, third-party components (such as fire
inserts), or other circumstances outside our reasonable control. We will keep you informed of any expected
delay.
4.3 We accept no liability for losses arising from delays to production or delivery.
5. Cancellations and Changes
5.1 As all furniture is made to order, you may cancel and receive a full refund of your deposit only within 48
hours of placing your order.
5.2 Once production has commenced, orders cannot be cancelled and deposits are non-refundable, as
materials will have been cut and labour committed specifically to your piece.
5.3 Changes to specification, size, colour or finish requested after production has started may incur
additional charges and may extend the lead time.
6. Delivery and Installation
6.1 Delivery and installation is carried out by our own in-house team, normally completed within a single
day. For long-distance deliveries, we may use a trusted third-party delivery specialist.
6.2 You must ensure clear and safe access to the installation area, including parking, doorways, staircases
and lift access where applicable. Additional charges may apply if access issues cause delays or require
extra labour on the day.
6.3 It is your responsibility to check that the finished item will fit through all access points into the intended
room prior to delivery. We are not liable for costs arising from access issues not disclosed to us in advance.
6.4 A delivery date will be arranged with you in advance and is subject to change in the event of
unforeseen circumstances.
7. Product Nature and Finish
7.1 All furniture is handcrafted and spray-finished in-house. As with any handmade product, minor natural
variations in finish, grain and colour match are normal and do not constitute a fault.
7.2 Paint finishes are colour-matched as closely as possible to the requested Farrow & Ball (or equivalent)
reference but may vary slightly from screen images or physical swatches due to lighting, batch variation,
and the nature of spray finishing.
7.3 All our furniture is freestanding and not fixed to walls or floors. It is the customer’s responsibility to
ensure appropriate anti-tip fixing where required, particularly in homes with children, in line with general
furniture safety guidance.
8. Warranty and Faults
8.1 We warrant our furniture against manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship for a period of 12
months from the date of delivery.
8.2 This warranty does not cover: fair wear and tear, damage caused by misuse, incorrect cleaning
products, exposure to excess heat, moisture or direct sunlight, or damage occurring after delivery that is
not due to our workmanship.
8.3 If you believe your furniture is faulty, contact us at info@farmhouse-furniture.co.uk with details and
photographs, and we will arrange an inspection, repair or replacement as appropriate.
8.4 This warranty is in addition to, and does not affect, your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act
2015.
9. Ownership of Goods
9.1 Ownership of the furniture remains with Farmhouse Furniture until payment has been received in full,
notwithstanding that we may have delivered and installed the goods.
10. Liability
10.1 Nothing in these Terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for
fraud.
10.2 Subject to clause 10.1, our total liability to you in connection with your order is limited to the total price
paid for the goods.
10.3 We are not liable for any indirect or consequential loss.
11. Complaints
11.1 If you have any concerns about your order, please contact us in the first instance at
info@farmhouse-furniture.co.uk or 01277 811 900, and we will do our best to resolve the matter promptly.
12. Governing Law
12.1 These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and any disputes will be subject to the
exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
